Greenhouse gas emissions
We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and to becoming a carbon neutral business by 2040. We also recognise the need to insulate ourselves from the growing cost of energy and carbon.
Since 1998 we have reported our carbon footprint - initially this was voluntarily but since 2009/10 it has been included in our annual return to our regulator Ofwat.
Over the next AMP period we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint even further.
